Louis Cross is a singer/songwriter based in Greater Manchester. His current musical tastes are folk, other singer/songwriters and American Blues bands; The War And Treaty And Southern Avenue. His main influence is Ed Sheeran. He first started learning guitar when he was 9 years old with his headteacher learning basic chords to perform at end of term concerts, then self-taught during highschool. He then started to write his own songs during highschool from the inspiration of Ed Sheeran.

He was also born with neuropathy called Charcot-Marie-Tooth which limits his mobility and ballance. At 12 years old he had to have numerous operations due to the condition progressing to the point where he was a wheelchair user during school hours and going outdoors. However, with recovery and physiotherapy after the surgery he is now able to walk better without using needing a wheelchair or walking aids most of the time.

In the past 12 months he has played at the Alrincham Market, supported Mishka Subably at the Castel Hotel, Altrincham Railway Club, The Lady Bridge Club and LEAF Portland Street and raised money for CMTKids, a cahrity that supports young people with Charcot-Marie-Tooth.

He is currently working on getting more gigs, recording music and creating a fanbase.

His ultimate goals are to sell albums and tour.
